Transport - Logistics Awards 2017 Award Ceremony

On Tuesday, February 7, 2017, all eyes were on the Winners of the Transport & Logistics Awards 2017 in a dazzling Award Ceremony at the Athenaida Complex. The awards, organized by the Supply Chain Institute and Boussias Communications to highlight excellence and innovation in the field of Supply Chain and Transport, were held under the auspices of the Ministries of Economy, Development & Tourism and Shipping & Island Policy.

At the award ceremony, companies and organizations' best projects and initiatives were awarded for their excellence in this important sector for the National Economy. The event was attended by more than 300 high-ranking executives from the largest companies and industries in our country, representatives of Ministries, Associations, and journalists.

Professor Georgios Doukidis, who also served as Chairman of the Jury, pointed out that "It is a significant evening! Nobody in the media talks about how Greek companies, Greek industries, can acquire added value, produce, and distribute their products properly. These things should be communicated to all since the best practices are not known even to the industry itself. That is what we managed to do today.”

BRAKATSELOS, 3W Logistics, ACS, Attica Group, Ekol Logistics, Hellenic Automotive, Jungheinrich Hellas, Kafsis Bio-Industries, Kioussis Transys, LG Electronics Hellas, Logika-Beyond Logistics, Sarmed, Sarosis IKE, SK, Synergy, AB Vassilopoulos, Delatolas, Masoutis, ELAIS-Unilever Hellas.

MED FRIGO / G. POULIAS - S. BRAKATSELOS SA won the GOLD AWARD in the field of Road Freight Transport. The award was received by the company CEO Mr. Sotirios Brakatselos.

It is not the first time for the company of Patras to win an award. In 2014 it was awarded the EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE Award in Integrated Logistics & Transportation Services and the HIGH-PERFORMANCE award in Investment Activity, whereas in 2015, the BRONZE AWARD in the field of Exports.
