The NEW Logistics Center of MED FRIGO in IGOUMENITSA

At MED FRIGO, we firmly believe that the development of our customers' commercial network is our business too, and recognizing the strategic importance of Igoumenitsa as a port that connects Europe with Northern Greece, the Balkans, and the Eastern European Axis, we proceeded in 2017, in the construction of a new state-of-the-art Logistics center at a distance of 10 km from the port of Igoumenitsa, at the last junction of the Egnatia Motorway.

The new Logistics Center occupies 2,800 m2 of refrigerated storage areas, refrigerators, and freezers, in privately owned 18,000m2 premises. The total investment will amount to 3,500.000 Euros. The new facility was put into operation on March 1, 2018.

With this move, we can now address all of Greece, and we will be able to serve our customers even better, but also those companies that wish to develop with us creating significant synergies with our other facilities in Patras, Athens, and Thessaloniki, bringing thus European Markets much closer to Greece.
