  • Distribution is organized by 2 specialized departments. More specifically:

✓ As regards export operations from Greece to Europe, MED FRIGO delivers every week to more than 400 points directly and in a reliable manner. Thanks to its scheduled departures and arrivals and its specialization in the management, transport and distribution of fish farming and free fishing products, temperature-controlled foodstuffs and medicines, and to the routes carried out by more than 400 refrigerated trucks per month, the company ensures that the activities of Greek companies in 14 European countries are supported continuously and that we are “always on time”.

✓ In the context of import operations from Europe to Greece, CARGO MED picks up, transports, and delivers goods 365 days a year. It specializes in groupage, namely part load, transport. Every week, more than 70 refrigerated trucks carry and transport temperature-controlled goods (food, raw materials, medicines, etc.) from Italy, Spain, Portugal, the South of France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Northern Germany to Greece.

The company’s privately-owned facilities are modern, covering 51,500 sq.m. and containing cold storage spaces of 13,500 sq.m. The facilities operate 24/7, 365 days a year, allowing customers to store their products and manage them in a comprehensive manner according to their needs.

Acknowledging the market’s ever-changing needs, the company is constantly investing in a fleet of Euro 6 vehicles, contributing to the protection of the environment, and in facilities and human resources. We firmly believe that the development of our customers’ commercial network is also our company’s responsibility and we recognize the strategic importance of Igoumenitsa as a port that connects Europe with Northern Greece, the Balkans, and the Eastern European Axis. Therefore, in 2017, MED FRIGO undertook the construction of a new, high-end technology Logistics center with a surface area of 2,800 sq.m. comprising refrigerated storage areas, refrigerators and freezers, in a privately owned area of 18,000 sq.m., 10 km from the port of Igoumenitsa. The total cost of the investment will amount to 3,500,000 euros, and the premises are already operational.
