MED FRIGO, at the annual XXV EUROMED CONVENTION, SORRENTO October 2022

Between 29/09-03/10 was held the XXV EUROMED CONVENTION of the GRIMALDI group at SORRENTO, Italy. Every year since 1997, the conference, brings together over 700 delegates, representatives of international and national governmental delegates, representatives of the logistics, ports, shipping, and banking sectors of the Euro-Mediterranean area.

Invited by the organizers for MED FRIGO group, were the CEO Sotiris BRAKATSELOS, Nikos BRAKATSELOS member of the Board and the shipping reservation manager, Samantha LOGOTHETI, as one of the most important ambassadors of logistics companies.

The three-day event was a particularly constructive experience, were members of the management and executives of the company had the opportunity to participate in important open discussions. They got informed and exchanged opinions on issues such as the energy crisis and the limitation of the environmental footprint.

As part of the conference, personal meetings were also held with Grimaldi Group's Commercial & Operations Manager Nunzio SAVARESE, as well as the new CEO of Minoan Lines, Loukas SIGALAS. Among other things, vital issues were discussed such as the importance of the coastal shipping lines in the Mediterranean and their importance for stable commercial development, but also the widespread energy crisis and its effects on the transport sector.
